Giving Day is an annual 24 hour event through Virginia Tech to raise as much money as possible. This large scale campaign takes months of preparation and anticipation to run for 24 hours straight, with online messaging running almost hourly. The giving is motivated by student stories, incentive items, and nostalgia for alumni and parents not physically on campus. My visual approach was inspired heavily by Olympic track and field competition with racing, speed, and competition at the core. The racing lines could be different colleges within the university, trying to raise the most and get the largest match. In total, the entire 'team' of Virginia Tech won, with this Giving Day being a record breaking, highest ever donation dollar amount of $22 million.
